On Tuesday, July 8, representatives from CIANJ’s member colleges and universities will gather to discuss legislation introduced earlier in the year that impacts New Jersey’s institutions of higher learning. The scope of the legislation covers everything from tuition freezes, remedial courses, to graduation rates. The Assembly Higher Education Committee met recently to hear concerns from the public. The Committee will likely convene in the autumn to discuss the bills again. Attendees will also be given a federal update on higher education matters.
