If you missed the Governor’s State of the State Address you can view it here: State of the State Address. Governor Christie laid out his Administration’s priorities for his second term. The Governor called for additional property tax relief by restricting the assessment of “user fees” on residents as a means to increase municipal revenues. The Governor also prioritized the need for education reform, calling for longer school days and a longer school year. He will pursue additional reforms on state pensions, sick time payouts and issuing an Executive Order to investigate pension fraud. More details will be released when the Governor delivers his Budget Address on February 25.
